Families enjoy special festive cheer at Davy Christmas party

At the end of November, we were thrilled to attend a very special Christmas party at Davy NI’s headquarters where families whose children are currently in treatment were invited to enjoy festive arts & crafts, games and a Santa’s Grotto. The icing on the cake came later that evening when everyone enjoyed the Belfast Christmas Lights switch on, with birds-eye views of the City Hall from Davy’s beautiful office.

Families were treated to some beautiful food and drinks and Davy’s staff spent time doing arts & crafts with the the children and getting to know the families.

Events like these are so special, as during a child’s treatment they are unable to attend large public events or mix with too many people.

Everyone had a wonderful time and parents commented on how special it was to be able to spend time together away from the hospital and to socialise with other families who are facing similar circumstances to themselves.

A huge thanks to the team at Davy for organising such a brilliant event and looking after the families and us so well.

Here are some of our favourite photos from the event and you can find more on our social media.
