This week saw our annual two-day Santa visit take place in the Children’s Cancer Unit, and we were thrilled to have the very magical Santa and Mrs Claus and their merry elves join us to sprinkle some festive cheer and give out some very special gifts.
It was lovely to meet all the children and their families and we know for sure Santa will be very busy this Christmas Eve with so many names on his Nice List!
A huge thank-you to Santa and Mrs Claus for taking time out of their very hectic Christmas schedule, as well as our wonderful Elf volunteers from Julius Baer, Loud Mouth and Aflac who gave up their time to help us give out the Build-a-Bear toys, Lego and other gifts.
This year, a special mention must go to Louth Mouth for sponsoring the Build-a-Bears and CFM (Combined Facilities Management) who for a second year, very kindly picked up all of the bears from Victoria Square and dropped them off at our office. And to all those who support us throughout the year- your generosity means we can continue to organise special events like the Santa visits which mean so much to the children and their families.
