We are thrilled to announce that the total income raised from this year’s Stormont Mile event, in association with Hagan Homes, was £31,000.
Nine-year-old Annabel joined Jane Hoare, Chief Executive of The Children’s Cancer Unit Charity and Jim Burke, Director of Sales and Acquisitions at Hagan Homes to make the announcement and to celebrate another successful year of the event.
Annabel was supporting the event, following her own treatment in the Unit, and played a big part in helping to recruit more than 200 people for this year’s run, walk and jog down Prince of Wales Avenue.
On the day, participants were treated to a special appearance from the charity’s ambassadors, Ciara Mageean and a fun warm-up from Fitness Freddy before the event began. After the races were finished, families enjoyed the bouncy castles, face painters and entertainment on site.
