At The Children’s Cancer Unit Charity, our mission is to provide the best possible treatment and support for children and young people, and their families, facing a cancer diagnosis or complex blood disorder.
Our Story
What We Do
The Children’s Cancer Unit Charity supports the work of the Unit, helping to fund vital resources, staff and specialised care, equipment and infrastructure and contributing to research and a range of family support services to support children and young people living with cancer and their families throughout Northern Ireland.
About The Unit
The Children’s Cancer Unit is based in the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children and every child in Northern Ireland who receives a cancer or complex blood disorder diagnosis will be treated here, regardless of where they come from.
Get Involved
We rely solely on donations in order to operate our services and support children and young people facing a cancer diagnosis, and their families. You can get involved today by fundraising, volunteering or making a donation.
Your Support Means A Lot
- £15 will purchase a welcome backpack for a child.
- £30 will fund a session with a member of the Play Specialist team.
- £100 will allow a child to access the necessary equipment required for our school robotics programme.

Throughout the year, we have a number of events that individual and corporate supporters can get involved in or sign up to. These include Marathons, abseils, skydives and seasonal fundraising campaigns.
