Festive family fun with Davy

Over the weekend, we were provided with an extra special treat thanks to our friends at Davy

From the comfort of a cosy viewing gallery and with the best view in the house, our families got to enjoy the launch of the Belfast City Christmas lights above the crowds at City Hall.

Before the main event, there was plenty to do with festive workshops, including gingerbread men designs and face painting, and Santa himself even took time out from a busy schedule to visit the children – before hitting the button to illuminate the city skyline.

We were completely spoilt and were able to enjoy some delicious food – maybe even a glass of bubbles for the parents (!) – and left with plenty of goodies to take home.

We know we speak on behalf of all the families when we extend a massive and heartfelt thank you to the team at Davy UK, who not only made the evening so special but who also made something that is normally impossible – possible.

Danielle Smyth and a friend enjoy a quiet moment on a bench beside the iconic Paddington Bear statue, which holds a sandwich as if offering it to passersby. A vehicle hums in the background, adding to this picturesque scene that would make for a perfect Mother’s Day feature.
