The fundraising for 2018 is well underway already!

The staff at Laverys Bar are supporting the work of the Unit and so far 30 have signed up for the Belfast marathon relay race this May. Training is underway and the CCUC tee shirts will be a big part of the occasion on the May bank holiday.

Speaking for the Children’s Cancer Unit Charity Jacqueline Wilkinson thanked the Laverys staff and encouraged others to take on a challenge as well.

“We brought some of the children who are currently undergoing treatment to Laverys to meet the staff and that really brings home the need to support the families and to support the work of the unit. The more support we get, the more support we can provide to families in need and to the work of the Unit.”
