Teddies for charity / Raising funds for a ‘bear’y worthy cause

Catlin Warke, Samantha McCarron and Jessica Mooney take a time-out at the Children’s Cancer Unit Charity’s Pearl Ball held recently at Belfast City Hall to show off teddy bears up for grabs in the auction from Lunn’s Jewellers. The gala event celebrated 30 years of the Children’s Cancer Unit Charity and raised an astounding £19,000 for the charity, which offers crucial support to patients of the Cancer & Haematology Unit at The Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.  The Pearl Ball, hosted by charity patron Kate Smith, was  attended by over 300 representatives from local businesses, health trusts, beneficiaries, and patients and staff of The Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.
