Thanks to the family of Nathaniel Thompson
The family of Nathaniel Thompson who is approaching his second birthday, have raised an incredible £12,690 in just over 6 months, all to support the work of the Children’s Cancer Unit Charity. Nathaniel has been receiving treatment at the children’s haematology unit in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children – the centre for all of Northern Ireland.
Nathaniel’s Mum and Dad, Sarah and Paul, along with family friend Raymond Miller, raised the fantastic sum through a 10k challenge when 50 of ‘Nats Ninjas’ took part in the Storm the Castle 19k in Carrick, a sponsored Bright Stars walk and a coffee morning. Other family friends celebrated their wedding anniversary by asking for donations to the Charity in lieu of presents.
Nathaniel’s older brother Alfie, 4, who is pictured, also joined in the fundraising effort.
