What a special day for the Children’s Cancer Unit Charity, with over 300 friends, families and supporters joining us to raise vital funds for our medical team and staff at the Children’s Cancer Unit at the Royal.
Together we walked, jogged, ran, sprinted and hobbled (!) down the CCUC Stormont Mile to raise awareness of childhood cancer in Northern Ireland and to show our families that they are not on this journey alone.
It was fantastic to see so many runners – competitive and amateur – take to the course and even clocking some impressive times. We look forward to seeing you again next year to see if we can better them!
What was particularly special was to see so many of our families, young patients and even some of the medical team who were there to enjoy the day with us.
